The modified MSI works as expected. It Intercepts the serial number and compares to some custom one stated in the.cpp file. IF it doesnt match, a messagebox is shown, if it does, it continues and installs perfect. My question is, it ONLY works on the machine that this was developed on. I have tried serveral window 7 x64 machines and all I get is a messagebox saying 'There was a problem with this Windows Installer Package. A DLL required for this install to complete could not be run'. After debugging, it IS Indeed complaining about that dll that was built.
