I had to go to a previous software which had the option of removing the default database and then reinstalled the latest firmware and factory defaulted. I was taken into a new setup screen and I now have a world wide database of channels. Choosing the satellite with a tick and changing the motor to a 1.2 one now allows me to allocate to position 01. Repeating this process with the next satellite saves to position 02 etc. Now starting on the long road to rebuilding my channel database! Looks like the SX88 added a couple more entries in the satellites.xml file. I do not remember seeing the mts or plsN entries before this last update.
